Clearwater's special events offer every visitor a special reason to come, whether to hear the best in jazz at the Marine Max Clearwater Jazz Holiday presented by Mercedes-Benz or to enjoy the spring at our Fun 'N Sun Festival or to experience African-American Heritage Day celebrating cultural and social experiences or to put on your running shoes at the Florida Gulf Beaches Marathon or to feel the streets roar as only a Grand Prix race can deliver.

With more than 105 parks managed by the City of Clearwater Parks & Recreation Department there are venues that are ideal for everything from music festivals to sporting events.

Coachman Park is the City of Clearwater’s premier outdoor venue. This 20-acre landscaped park is located directly on the waterfront in downtown and the preferred venue for the Bay Area’s favorite events.

It’s not uncommon for people to drive hundreds of miles to enjoy a city of Clearwater event. Those listed below are just a sampling of the fun to be had in Clearwater.
