Promotion & Advertising
This Chamber offers several ways to promote and advertise your business: website advertising, Voice of Business newsletter advertising, special event sponsorships and business card and brochure racks at our office. It is our passion to go above and beyond to promote your business. We think outside-the-box for our members, from making personal introductions to helping you find your target market. Some of our special events include our Multi 7 Chamber Business Expo, Politics in the Park (Bi-Annually), Rays Luncheon and our Coast Guard vs. CYP Softball Challenge!
Support & Business Growth
Several times a year the Chamber sponsors educational opportunities for membership holders. The majority of members are small to medium size businesses and as such, do not have training departments. Within the Chamber’s membership there are excellent Coaches, Trainers and Educators who put together programs that are relevant to today’s business owners. In addition, the Financial Resource Center is a one-stop service for a wide variety of information for business entity concerns.
Referrals & Prospects
Through the website we can track referrals given to our members. At time of renewal of Chamber membership, we include a year’s snapshot of your individual company’s website activities and the benefits you have received by being a Chamber member. You also have the ability to check this report at any time through the Members Only section on our website. Walk-ins to our Chamber office are also referred to member businesses. It’s a great way to say, “Always Buy Chamber!”.
Prospective lists of visitors and relocation guide requests are benefits that Silver level and above members have access too. The Prospect List of Visitors is generated from multiple sources that gather information about who is coming to visit our city. Members who are in the hospitality, restaurants, attractions and service industries will find this to be a beneficial asset. The Prospect List of Relocating Guide Requests is sent out as an email to members who are interested in people who are planning to relocate to the Clearwater area. Realtors, insurance agents, schools and service members will use this as a productive tool for business.
Although recognition of accomplishments and service happens throughout the year, the culmination of this occurs at the Annual Meeting held each January. Over 500 guests attend to celebrate successes of their businesses and those of the Chamber. We recognize Businesses of the Year, Tourism Person of the Year, Mr./Ms. Clearwater, and present a special Community Award and other highly regarding awards. All of these honors are decided upon by other Chamber members.
Through the Chamber’s Government Affairs Department and their various committees, our membership is kept up-to-date on local and State of Florida issues. With a collective voice the Chamber focuses on policies that are essential to the economic vitality of the region.
