Pinellas County has one of the healthiest
economies in the state of Florida. With an unemployment rate
under four percent, companies are looking for motivated,
qualified employees. A list of major employers is included in
this book to help you begin your search. In addition, WorkNet
Pinellas is the county’s workforce development program. WorkNet
provides services ranging from executive placements to
entry-level job training. WorkNet Pinellas develops strategies
to target the needs of employers then matches them to job
seekers. There is no fee charged for any of WorkNet Pinellas
One-Stop Career and Business Centers and satellite Centers
throughout the County.
