Member Benefits

Membership Benefits

The Clearwater Regional Chamber has a variety of options for you to maximize your membership for marketing your products and services to the business community. We hope you will take advantage of your membership by including the following options and incorporate them into your marketing plan.

Networking Opportunities

Networking is all about building relationships and developing partnerships with other business owners. Through being involved at your Chamber you can take advantage of monthly Chamber networking events, training and educational sessions, programs and special events. At our Chamber we offer a minimum of eight networking opportunities throughout the month. We normally have several ribbon cuttings and a special event during each month. We believe that by offering so many opportunities you will get to know others and develop relationships, even if you are only able to attend one or two events. We offer Breakfast and Leads, Lunch and Leads and Mix and Mingles so that you can pick and choose what fits best into your schedule.

Promotion and Advertising

This Chamber offers several ways to promote and advertise your business: website advertising, Voice of Business newsletter advertising, member to member eblasts, special event sponsorships and business card and brochure racks at our office. We go above and beyond to promote your business. We think outside-the-box for our members, from making personal introductions to helping you find your target market.

Support and Business Growth

Several times a year the Chamber sponsors educational opportunities for the membership. The majority of members are small to medium size businesses and as such, do not have training departments. Within the Chamber’s membership there are excellent Coaches, Trainers and Educators who put together programs that are relevant to today’s business owners. We have a Vice President of Small Business Development who works with our businesses to help them navigate through the process of starting a business, creating business plans, navigating bank lending and getting business owners in touch with SCORE and USF Business Counseling.

Referrals

Through the website we can track referrals given to our members. At time of renewal of Chamber membership, we include a year’s snapshot of your individual company’s website activities and the benefits you have received by being a Chamber member. You also have the ability to check this report at any time through the Members Only section on our website. Walk-ins to our Chamber office are also referred to member businesses.

Recognition

Although recognition of accomplishments and service happens throughout the year, the culmination of this occurs at the Annual Meeting held each January. Approximately 500 guests attend to celebrate successes of their businesses and those of the Chamber. We recognize Businesses of the Year, Tourism Person of the Year, Mr./Ms. Clearwater, and present a special Community Award and other highly regarding awards. All of these honors are decided upon by other Chamber members.

Business Advocate

Through the Chamber’s Government Affairs Department and their various committees, our membership is kept up-to-date on local and State of Florida issues. With a collective voice the Chamber focuses on policies that are essential to the economic vitality of the region. The Vice President of Public Affairs distributes monthly newsletters of current issues that may affect our businesses and business owners.
