Business of the Year Committee
The work of this committee culminates with the Annual Meeting. Nominations are sought for the various award categories and reviewed by committee members.
Economic Development Committee
Chamber members and staff are actively involved in Economic Development and work closely with the City of Clearwater Economic Development and Pinellas County Economic Development Departments. Resources are provided to help those seeking information on how to start a business, expand their business and for assistance with questions regarding city, county and state business regulations.
Business seminars are offered through the Small Business Administration (SBA) providing information about SBA loans and their other services. SCORE, a voluntary free counseling service, also partners with the Chamber and the Small Business Development Center to provide valuable information to businesses.

Government Affairs Committee
This committee allows members interested in the political process to become more actively involved in issues and legislation that impacts business in our community. Committee members identify key issues and establish a legislative agenda. They advocate and educate to better prepare business owners and policy makers with an ultimate goal of a more business friendly environment.

Military & Veteran Affairs Committee
The mission of this committee is strengthen relationships between the Clearwater Regional Chamber and the area's active-duty, reserve, veteran and retired military community and associated volunteer organizations.
Mr. & Mrs. Clearwater Nomination Committee
This committee coordinates the nomination, interview and selection process of the Chamber's most prestigious award Mr./Ms. Clearwater. This award is presented annually to an individual(s) in the greater Clearwater area who has contributed to the community through volunteerism, leadership and philanthropy.
Tourism Partners Committee
This committee promotes Clearwater as a year round tourist destination, offering educational and promotional opportunities for its members’ benefit. Meetings are held every 6 weeks and are geared to general managers/owners, hospitality sales and marketing executives. A guest speaker addresses issues related to the hospitality industry and members discuss industry trends and data.
